Collier Technologies began in 1997, as a small side business in Giddings, Texas. The owner, Joshua Collier was a high school student who performed computer repair services for local businesses including the local high school. He also performed drafting work for the Texas New Mexico Power Company.
While creating a 3D model, of a coal chute, for the power-plant, Joshua caught a mistake that saved the company a large sum of money. In return, one of the senior managers arranged for Joshua to take flying lessons, and shortly before his 18th birthday he earned his private license. Joshua had finally achieved his childhood dream of flying, but a private license was only valid for personal use.
In 2000, Joshua enrolled at Texas State Technical College in Waco, Texas for Aircraft Pilot Training with the dual goal of earning a college degree and a flight instructor’s certificate. Collier Technologies continued to function as a means to generate income and was used to pay for his education.
After graduation, Joshua began steering Collier Technologies into the world of aviation. While the company still produces some software and computer related products, its main focus is to provide high quality aviation related products.
Quality
All of our products are designed to our own high standards and tested through everyday use before becoming a Collier product. Each one is manufactured here in the USA. We do not out source our products, and we strive to use only American made materials.
Life-time Warranty
Unless otherwise noted, if for any reason a Collier product ever fails due to a manufacturers defect we will repair or replace it at no charge to the customer.
